Stuck with hyperlinks!!

I'm new to iPads but having a problem when I move documents over the iPad for business meetings. We want to use one main document (Agenda) then hyperlink from this to other documents. The files are zipped up and then downloaded from a Secure File Transfer onto the iPads, then opened in Goodreader and unzipped however the hyperlink changes to file:///word/then the file name when moved over and when I press on the link I get a message saying Invalid File Link.

Can anyone help me with how to fix this problem? Or maybe another solution?
