Office 2011 - calendar color settings

Anyone know how to change the calendar icon and background color in outlook 2011?

Do you mean the colour of categories? If so, go to Organize (on the Ribbon) > Categories. You can change the colours there.

No it's the default color of calendar (blue) that causes confusion if you have a another second or third calendar perhaps a shared or colleagues calendar. They are similar color albeit different shades...
