I was having trouble emptying the trash with a flash drive you know locked files and all that and after a quick internet search i found this piece of code
% cd /Volumes/USBMEM/
% rm -r .Trashes
% touch .Trashes
rather stupidly I just thought I would have a go at my first terminal command, and it worked brilliantly, oh no wait a minute, now everything just deletes immediately nothing in the trash and no going back after a hard days work, my question is what piece of code do I use to reverse it?

Try removing the new trash. Unplug the USB drive. Log off and then on. Plug the drive back in and test. Your profile should recreate it properly. If not, repeat, but log off and back on with the drive plugged in.

Thank you that was considerably easier than I thought it would be.
