I use a Panasonic digital camera that can shoot video. The video files show up in Finder with the file extension .mts. When I insert the SD card into my MacBook Pro, iPhoto launches and captures the still (.jpg) photos. The MacBook ignores the MTS files. Two questions:
1. How do I move the MTS files from the SD card to my hard drive? (The root of this question: I can't figure out how to drag and drop files from one drive to another. I knew how to do that on a PC, but it's not clear how to do it on the Mac.)
2. How do I play MTS files on the MacBook? (I can't find an application on my MacBook for playing an MTS file.)
Added a few minutes later: Never mind. I just now discovered iMovie <<GRIN>>. Works just fine, thank you.
