One dead pixel.

Is it worth sending back my iMac for repairing one dead pixel that is at the far right of the screen? My iMac is still under warranty (bought in August 2010). Opinions from users who had these problems would be deeply appreciated. :Confused:

I wouldn't worry about it if it wasn't in a prominent location.. you'd be going some to notice it on the 27" screen!! - I'm also pretty sure they have a policy r.e. dead pixels which I think you'll be short of.

I'm pretty sure Apple won't do any warranty repair for one dead pixel. You can call and ask, but I think you need multiple for them to care.

Yeah, with one dead pixel, I doubt apple will cover such a small problem, but if it really bugs you that much, you could call and ask.

No, they won't fix it. That's been discussed before.

Take a look at this. It doesn't give you a number but it should explain why they probably won't fix it if you only have one dead pixel.
