Hey there all i have a simple problem that i think i know what to do but i just need some varification that im on the right track....
I have a Mac Mini 2009 model, got it through the refurb apple site so its brand new, anyhoo it has a 160gb HD thats pretty much full already but didnt want the stress of having to re-install everything and the cost of a new HD.
After much thought i stumbled on the fact that one of my external HD (WD 500g) runs the same size HD that i have in the mini.... so can i take a complete copy/ghost/clone of the HD thats in there onto the external and then just take that drive out and drop it in the mini and it will just boot up as normal, or am i misinformed??
And if so whats the best program to use for this switch over??
