Yes, Walgreens. For those overseas, that is a small convenience store/pharmaceutical in the US. Don't know if they operate outside the US, but anyway, back on topic, Walgreens sells this.

I don't want to hijack this too far off base but...

My first overclock was the famous Intel P2 Celeron 300a. A friend went to 500 on each CPU with Air cooling. I did a 366 Celeron to 466 dead stable. But anyway, back to the FAKE ipad! :D

Crimson, good one! :D

That's pretty much what the netbook market was. And it's destined to fail. Apple became big by profiting on quality products with large margins instead of peddling large quantities of garbage like the competition tried and failed at. The competition still have not learned.

Problem is that competing software simply isn't available. Anybody can put out good hardware, but they're all having trouble with the software. Developing a custom OS is expensive and very risky, so these companies look to existing software, most notably Windows 7 and Android. Problem is that Windows is a massive resource hog, resulting in sluggish performance and poor battery life, not to mention poor usability since the OS is better suited for a mouse and keyboard. Android is simply not ready to be put on tablets, as evidenced by the fact that Google itself has stated that the current version of Android is not designed for tablets and thus it does not fully sanction these current efforts. We have to wait for a future version that is tablet ready.

RIM and HPalm have their own versions on the horizon. Hopefully Microsoft will make a tablet version of Windows Phone 7 (the OS is perfect for horizontal use) and Google gets its next version out soon. Only then will we see true competition in the tablet space, which is only good for consumers. :)

Small??? Walgreens has been around for over 100 years and has over 7500 stores in all 50 states!

I realized I phrased that wrong. What I meant was their stores are not your average retail store.

I'm going to agree with you. I never heard of Walgreens until I moved back to California...and they were building it kind of close to my house. >_>"

I had the same reaction. The stores here are not what I'd call "small convenience stores". But yeah, they do have a variety of products, including food items, in addition to personal care products, prescriptions, and photo processing. In fact, we used to patronize the largest Walgreens in our state, but we moved 6 miles, and go to another one. They're everywhere! We like to kid that Walgreens is attempting to take over the world! They ran one regional "drugstore" chain out of town, and now CVS is taking them on. CVS will lose.

This is funny. Cause to me a lot of the stores in the US like your Walgreens and Walmart and many others try to sell everything.

Whereas in Australia 99% of stores here specialise. If you want food you go to the supermarket. If you want drugs you go to the pharmacy (and drugs is all they sell). And the list goes on.

I just am just seeing how different things are compared to Australia. Where many stores over there are sell everything stores. And here each store only sells that it specialises in.

And here in the US, our trucks are limited to only 2 trailers, unlike the "truck trains" in Australia!

I understand the heavy bars in front are to take care of beasts who cross in front of one of those trains since they don't exactly stop on a dime!

Exactly. They are too cheap to pay for 2 trucks and 2 drivers. Plus those truck trains usually have to drive 1000-3000KM in a stretch so yeah. And the bull bars are for the animals, but not in the way you think. The critters will see a huge front and get scared and not go near the truck.

Unlike the stupid emus. They will run along side the cars/trucks and race them for a bit. But if they turn their neck around to look ad the vehicle they slow down and the vehicles runs over their neck. So yeah for driver protection and trying to scaring off the animals.

And our actual cargo trains on the rail lines on average have 40 trailers being pulled full of loot (whoops I mean cargo :) ).

This will only happen if a tourist drops a dime here. :) Cause we don't use dimes in Australia.

This is funny. Cause to me a lot of the stores in the US like your Walgreens and Walmart and many others try to sell everything.

Shoot, the biggest "big box" Home Improvement chain in our state also sells some grocery items, and mattresses!

The farm supply store also sells food, clothing, home improvement items, sporting goods, and auto parts.

Grocery "supermarkets" have bakeries, delicatessens, florists, hairdressers, pharmacies, and banks inside them.

I could go on, but you get the idea.
