Is there any way to customize certain command+, etc to webpages?

Im sure its something ridiculously easy and obvious like it always is on a mac.

Can you clarify what exactly it is you want to do with webpages so that we can help you? And while you're at it, a little info about your machine, the OS version and what browser we're talking about couldn't hurt either.

Just to set a keyboard shortcut to bring up a certain webpage in a new window or tab, ex. command+G bring up google, etc. MBP- OS X 10.6, Safari

If you place a link in the Bookmarks Bar, you can keyboard-shortcut it with its position on the bar (command+1, command+2, etc.).

Mac Mini (Late 2014) 2.6GHz Intel Core i5 Memory: 8GB 1600MHz DDR3
Are we to assume that those shortcuts are for Safari? Do other browsers have something similar? (if anyone knows)
