I'm wondering if someone can help me with this, I have looked everywhere and can't figure out how to get OS X to automatically change (or at least figure out the correction for) "im" to "I'm". The only option it comes up with is Imo...

Does anybody know a fix for this??

Thanks :)

Open System Preferences/Language & Text. Click the Text option and your presented a text substitution list. Add a new entry, enter Im as the text to replace and I'm as the substitution text. Make sure the new item is checked in the list so it's active.

Hey "ukchucktown" pretty darn awesome post!:) I didn't know that...followed your instructions...and it makes sense.

I would add (just for clarity)...to add a "new entry"...a person needs to click on the "+" box at the bottom left corner of the Languages & Text preferences window.

Great post,:)
