Possible to add/resize text boxes in iphoto books?

Is it possible to change the size &/or insert additional text boxes when making photo books in any version of iphoto? I know it can be done in Blurb's Book Smart software, but I like the iphoto themes for this particular book.

I have iphoto '08 on one computer & '09 on another. If iphoto '11 allows this but the others don't, I'll buy it.
