Hi all,

I have just bought the new MacBook Pro and i am trying to install a library for eclipse. The library tries to install files in the usr/local/bin directory but it cant find it. When i go to the /usr directory and do the ls command there is no local directory!!!! Can you help me please????

There is on my machine but it looks as if the reason is my own (I installed stuff that created it). Have you tried simply creating it?

You need to have root permissions to create a directory in /usr. Execute the following:
Code:
sudo mkdir /usr/local
Use your password.
