Snapping photos to the beat in iMovie '09

Hi:

I was using the free iMovie and upgraded to '09. I had previously created a project where I dragged photos onto an audio track. I set the photos to 0.6 seconds each, which was almost on the beat but not exact. I want to snap them to the beat. Upgraded to '09 and made sure View | Snap to Beat was set. I went to the Clip trimmer for the audio track and played it, hitting M key where the beats were. After that the beat markers show up in the audio track. But I'm not sure how to get it so each photo changes right on the beat (i.e. the photo's left edge lines up with the beat marker). I can't really move the photos around much. Not an expert with iMovie obviously--how do I accomplish this?

If you drag the photos in...it should happen automatically...give it a try.

the problem I think is that I set a time on each photo to 0.6 seconds before (to simulate getting close to the beat). I think if I started over and dragged each photo in again it would work, but the problem is there are hundreds of photos (as you can imagine at 0.6 seconds each). I want to be able to use the existing photos that have been dragged in and say "forgot about the time length, snap all existing photos to the beat", rather than re-drag in hundreds of photos.

Must be possible??

Yeah..it should be. Go to the box that shows the time marked for all photos and untick "for all photos"...then employ the snap to beat feature...
