I am interested in running Windows 7 on my Macbook Pro, which has Mac OS X. I read on the Apple website that this is possible through a program called Bootcamp. What should I know before doing this?

It depends on what you need to do. I personally find using Parallels and Windows is nicer, but whichever way you choose, you need an official copy of windows, and you will need anti virus and anti mal/spyware for the Windows partition.
Have a go with our search engine (or mine) to find a ton of posts about the subject.
