On Speedtest, it is indicated i have a 450ms Ping to a server thats 50 miles away! Can someone tell me how i can reduce this? It was never this high and it just started a couple weeks ago.

Open the Terminal and do a traceroute to that IP and you'll see exactly where the hangup is. Just because the location is relatively close doesn't mean that the path is more direct.

Open the Terminal (Applications => Utilities => Terminal).

Type:

Code:
traceroute 192.168.0.1

Substitute 192.168.0.1 for whatever IP you're trying to troubleshoot.
