I have MBP 15'inch 2010. 500GB is not enough for me and I would like to upgrade to 1TB.

Does any 1TB internal hard disk EXISTS that would fit in 2010 MBP 15inch?

Currently the largest hard drive that is recommended to use in your machine is 750 GB, (WD 5400 RPM = $109.00) at OWC. The 1 TB models are a bit too thick (12.5 MM) whereas the factory installed hard drive you currently have is 9.5 MM in thickness.

Some folks have placed the 12.5 MM drives in the MBP 17" model machines, however, the 17" models have a bit more space to spare than the 15" or 13" models.
