I'm not sure if this is a hardware or software issue.
I use a MacBook Pro (4 years old) running the new Mac OS X.
I inserted a DVD today that is full of pictures (jpegs). The computer does not recognize the DVD and cannot mount it.
I tried opening disk utility but nothing
The weird thing is, when I insert it in to a buddies PC as well as his macbook pro, it mounts just fine and has the pictures on the DVD.
I tried inserting another disk, both a DVD of a TV shoes as well as my printer install cd and they mounted and booted just fine from my computer.
Any ideas what would be wrong?
