Crazy how far laptops have come in 10-15 years...no matter if is a Mac or PC.

I always get a good laugh at old technology too! Y2k sticker cracks me up! Haha.

Even more confusing is the fact that the newish looking laptop in the background of the second picture doesn't appear to be a Mac even...

Mac OS (System) and even my Mac Plus went right on working past 2000. :D No Y2K needed! :D

That dog seems to like that old Toshiba though. :D

Yep Toshiba Tecra 1800, 1998 vintage hence the Y2K compliance stickers to "boost" sales?

If ever you used one you would know they needed a huge boost!

My old VCR was the only thing I had that was hit by Y2K. And in the 2000's it's dates were all screwed up and it became a real pain in the butt to record anything with it in the 2000's. But all my Mac at the time just work fine through it all.

I ran into several motherboards from say the Pentium 75-166 era which went nutz right after 2000. One computer store that sold used computers and parts sold me 2 of the boards for systems I was building for poor people. Both boards had to go back.
