MacBook pro sudden lag while playing games.

I often play computer games on my MBP. Mostly HoN and Starcraft 2. But yesterday both games began lagging, not only in the games but also in the menus. I tried installing this Snow Leopard Graphics Update but it did not help.

How hot is your MBP getting while this is happening? System components slow themselves down to help them to cool off when they go over their heat threshold, which would cause a slow down in games and the menus.

70 celcius at most.
But it has always been around that temperature. But it now occurs as soon as i start the game.

i have the same problem too....it suddenly lagging so much....can't play a game, even as a simple game as red alert 3....have you solve the problem?
