Now if they where to make Mac Lounges in every store, me thinks this would be a leap on the right direction. It will need to have Power access so when you go in and buy that new iPad, you can stop in the lounge, plug in and play even before you got to leave. If you where having problems, using there wi-fi you book a Genius Appt there and then, have a coffee playing with said new toy and wait for your appt,

I really like this concept. Sort of like the golden arches making the Mc Cafe .......

Bring it on :)

About time! Grocery stores in my city have been adding coffee shop/wi-fi lounges for years. Makes perfect sense to have something like that in an Apple Store. Wish they could add it to the one I always go to.

Coffee+$1000 plus electronics= disaster. If you buy a drink, don't go into the Store until you've finished it, or wait until after you shop to buy that coffee.

This lounge area will probably make the Apple stores even more crowded then they already are. I dunno if that's a good thing. It's strange though, there's not that much to do in an Apple store, see a few IT products then leave. But they're always packed. Must be on many people's bucket lists. Spend whole day in Apple store before they die.

Agreed! Apple stores (except the few anchor stores) aren't very big, and every time I go into one to do a little shopping, I have to walk sideways and avoid all of the teenagers jumping in front of me to play with macbooks because they think I'm going to "take their spot."

I'm just here for the Dora the Explorer game for my kid, people!

Heaven help me if I bring my wife and son. They usually stand out in the mall while I go in, because we can't fit the stroller in the store.
