IE for Mac was discontinued in version 5, the last update was in 2003, so it is safe to say that there will be no OSX versions of IE above that ever

Your best bet is to run a version of windows in virtualisation like virtualbox

If you have a running version of windows I would recommend the Lunascape browser for Windows that allows your to test a site in all three main browser engines

If you need IE because the site you are accessing uses ActiveX, you're best bet is to virtualize Windows with something like VirtualBox, VMWare Fusion or Parallels. If it doesn't use any IE specific technology and you aren't testing the page for IE compatibility (not sure since this is in the development section), you may be able to spoof your user agent string for your browser of choice. May I ask what it is that you need IE for?

Legend has it that M$ got so ticked off by Apple's Safari that it stopped all development of IE for Mac when Apple announced it was working on its own Mac internet browser. So, no hopes ever seeing IE on a Mac unless you run Windows on an Intel Mac.

Not entirely accurate. IE runs fine under WINE. Check the link posted by McYukon.
