Sorry if I'm asking an obvious question, only recently converted to mac!

After setting up a second user account on my new mac I cannot now change the keyboard configuration. "International" seems to have disappeared from system preferences???

Any help greatly appreciated

Welcome to the Mac Forums.

What kind of a User account did you set up? And, if you go back to your original admin account, are all the preferences available through System Preferences? Also, what are you referring to when you say "International"? Do you mean "Language and Text"?

Um, I have International. OS 10.5.8

The only thing I'd want to change in there is date, time, and number formats. If you don't need to change those, then you don't need it, but I'm sure you'd like to get it back to normal. You'll have to get it off your installation disc. Do you have that?
