I have the opportunity to purchase a working powerbook G4 (M9690LL/A) with a dead battery for $100. I plan on using Photoshop CS1, office:mac 2004, and ilife '08. the only thing it can't do is run a Ti-83 emulator for windows. How much you all think a new battery will set me back, and is this a good deal? My current mac is a G4 digital Audio 733Mhz running all those programs.

Not a bad deal at all if you ask me. I typically see these go anywhere from $200-$400 Plus, there a few places online where you can get a battery cheap.
