setFile Missing?

Hello!

A few days ago, my hard drive died on me, I took it into the Apple Store, they replaced it with a nicer one and installed Snow Leopard for me. So, now I'm going about the task of retrieving all the applications and setting everything I need, want, and/or prefer.

So, I've been working through the shell to tweak some stuff, and am wanting to change some files and folders to be hidden. Unfortunately, this does not seem to be working. It simply prints the "SetFile: command not found" back to me. I've tried using setFile (what I usually used), setfile, and SetFile, but none have worked for me... I've tried working both with sudo and as root.

I read somewhere that you have to have the Dev tools installed for it to work so maybe that is the problem why it returns error command not found.

Ah, cool, that's probably why, then. I usually install the developer tools soon after I get a computer/install OS X, so I never noticed before.

Thank you for replying, I'm downloading the latest version of the developers' kit now. =)
