hey guys,

I'm just wondering why VMWare says that no more then 3GB of ram should be dedicated to a virtual machine...it says "memory swapping" may occur but I don't know what that means...=(.

I'm planning on upgrading more ram on my MBP and I plan to take it to 8GB. I'd like to be able to dedicate a good amount of memory to the Virtual Machine when i'm using it but if "memory swapping" occurs...I don't know if that's good or bad....

Can someone please advise me on what their take on upgrading to 8GB of ram is and a little more information about the VMWare virtual machine set up....

Thanks!
