Help with Portable Hard Drive

I'm a newbie and would appreciate some advice. I recently added the max amount of memory and upgraded our Mac Mini Tiger to Snow Leopard. I use Disk Warrior and SuperDuper. I suspect that our Iomega Prestige Hard Drive (250 GB) is inadequate because I can't back up SuperDuper to our Mac. Mac is greyed out.

Any assistance, suggestions, etc. would be so appreciated.

Many thanks,
klady

G'day and welcome to the forums.

Is Tiger is on the presumably external hard drive? If so you may well have to format the external, set up as GUID under Partition, and Partition even if using only one partition.

As harry pointed out, SuperDuper will only clone to a drive formatted to the Mac HFS Extended Journaled (GUID) file system. You will need to erase the iOmega with Disk Utility and format it accordingly.
