I lost my install discs awhile ago and found a good deal online for a new set of original OS X Mini 10.6.3 installation discs. My mini is a 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo that I bought in May of '09. Does anyone know if there will be a compatibility issue if I try and use the newer discs? Any help appreciated, thanks.

There is a very good chance you will have compatibility issues.

You would be much better off just purchasing the $29 Snow Leopard (10.6) install disk at the Apple Store.

As Nick suggests they will probably not install being from a different model Mini by a long shot. Original System Install discs, the silver/grey type, are extremely model specific. Your Mini came with OS X.4.10.

Do you have an Apple Store local to you? If so, try going in and see if they might help.
