Hello,

I have to make some printscreens for school, but my Mac-keyboard isn't working anymore since some cola felt on it. I had a 'normal' logitech keyboard too and I'm using that one now.

The problem is I can't make printscreens or get the dashboard etc. with it. How do I make a printscreen without using the keyboard?

Regards,
12nounee

Sorry for my bad English...

Hmm not working. I can't do a simple copy paste either. Maybe my keyboardsettings aren't right? How do I change that? :p

You can always use Grab? It should be in Applications -> Utilities.

 shift 4, or alt shift 4 if you are using a PC keyboard

With a non-Mac keyboard:
1. Windows-Shift-3 will capture the whole screen, saving the pic to MacHD or other user-specified location.
2. Windows-Shift-4 gives you cross-hairs with which to select all or part of what you're trying to capture, again saving as in 1 above.
