I just bought a brand new 13" MacBook Pro for school and it is already starting to act strangely. Sometimes it seems that the screen will flicker ever so slightly, but it is still noticeable. Applications close unexpectedly more than they should. And worst of all, my track pad is very unreliable. Many times it hardly works at all and it takes me putting the computer to sleep to fix it... although sometimes not even this technique works.

What should I do?

Thank you.

Take it back to the Apple store in Victoria, BC or wherever you purchased it from. The machine is new and still under warranty. Make an appointment first.
