Is it possible to print from my mac to windows xp using vmware fusion. The catch is the printer is a 'windows only' printer - there are no drivers for mac.

Is there a way to network the window printer to the mac or something else...I've searched everywhere and can't find an answer.

Thanks for the help...great forum here!

Dave.

Yes, it's possible to use your Win only printer from an XP VM. If you already have Fusion, it should be easy enough to test. If you don't have a copy of Fusion or maybe thinking about buying a copy, take a look at the free VirtualBox from Sun Microsystems.

How do you do it?

I have VMware Fusion 3.1 (running XP) on my macbook running snow leopard. Everything I've tried says I need the mac drivers in order to print from the mac to Fusion/XP. What am I missing? I thought it'd be pretty simple...but I can't seem to figure it out.

Thanks for the help....and the welcome to Mac Forums!

Dave.
