reformatting flash in ipad

I had someone from work upgrade my ipad to 4.2 without my knowledge, and now I want to go back to the supported code. Is there any way to reformat the flash or at least revert back to the supported code? Or am I stuck?

4.2 is Beta and buggy. It does not support a lot of the functions in my original code. I want the original code back on the iPad.
