I only have this Pro about ten days, for no specific reason
occassionally when I am in the middle of certain functions
a "evil laughing sound bite" goes off..
I went to store and did a One on One session, they could not find it,
one person thought it was connected some how to a setting in Speech
it may be the sound voice called Hysterical -- but not sure
any one ever have this problem??
I am so glad sound went off when I was actually at the store
in the middle of typing a line in "Notes"
;P

If you go to System Preferences > Speech, is "Speakable Items" set to on? If so, try turning it off. I get the feeling that this has been checked but let's start there.
