Deleting music

Is there any way to delete music direct from my ipad without syncing with my imac.

Not without jailbreaking.

Wait....there is a way. Select the song in the music window, and the press the edit button on the top right. You can then delete the song.

Fairly certain thats just for editing the playlists, don't think it removes the song from the device. I could be wrong for the iPad but thats how it works on the iPhone anyways

You're right halo it just deletes it from the playlist but if you do the whole list from the left hand menu the next time you sync it will delete them from the pad. Thanks for the replies anyway.

From what I know there is no way to delete music from the iPad it self.
