Help - pop3 Cannot connect on some accounts??

Hi,

Just a quick question - I have a new iMac and want to use the Mail app for pop3 and imap mail. My yahoo account and gmail work fine but ..... It never connects to the live.com server. I thought it was my ISP but I called them and they unblocked port 25.

Now ....... I just setup my wife's user account and she can send and receive with this setup - connects easily to hotmail???

What have I done on my account to stop it connecting to Hotmail? Pleas whelp me as this is driving me nuts!

HotMail is up and down like the waves on the ocean. Try removing the account from Mail and set it up again. Lots of folks have had problems with Microsoft's latest.
