I need to turn in my CS homework but when I went to email the .py (python) files to my teacher there was no trace of them! I had been working on them in Aptana like 10 seconds before. And when I check it says they are located and where they should be, I cannot find them! Help?

Someone said something that by doing the homework on a Mac can make the files disappear because what shows on Windows might not show up on a Mac. I started doing the programming completely on my Mac about a week ago before that I'd used Windows mainly. (on Windows I used Eclipse and on Mac I use Aptana)

[edit]
I've already tried spotlight, nothing found. Aptana says its there but everything else says there is no such file. I can edit and save it just not find it.

Try spotlight to see if you can find it that way..if you remember the name, you should be able to find it. A .py file is not a file that should be hidden in Finder or on the Mac..

Just to note, you can use Eclipse on the Mac as well. I use it with PyDev to do some Python scripting. That may help with familiarity.

IIRC, by default, Aptana's default workspace is at ~/Documents/Aptana Studio Workspace or something similar to that. If you haven't changed that, take a look there.
