I was really excited about renting tv shows $.99 on my iPad after the announcement at the latest key note. However I can not figure our how to rent shows on my iPad. For instance I like the show Lost and was going to rent it on my iPad but there is no option for renting when I navigate there via itunes on the iPad. However, if I find that same show on my mac via itunes then the option to rent for $.99 is there.

I though maybe it was because I didn't have the latest version of the ios, so I updated that and still no tv rentals.

I am missing something here? Thanks.

What version did you update to? Are you running the new 4.2 beta? I have no problems renting Lost episodes from my iPad.

Don't think we'll get rentals on the iPad until the release of 4.2.

Pretty sure I won't be doing any rentals at $1 when I can purchase the SD for $2 or the HD for $3. And the SD versions look just fine on the iPad.

Rentals are functioning in 4.2. If you do not have 4.2, in the meantime you can still rent and download from your computer and then transfer to the iPad if you wish.
