Hi,
I'm deciding between two Macs, G4s,....I know old, but they'll do the trick and I'm low on money.
One is a G4 Quicksilver model,
The other is a G4 MDD (Mirror Door Drive) Model. I've read the MDD can be noisy, then I also read that about the Quicksilver model.
Does anyone have thoughts on the two models?
The MDD, is . 1.25 GHz, 1 Gig Ram, and 120 Gig Hard Drive,
And the Quicksilver is 1.0 GHz, 1 Gig Ram, and 80 Gig Hard drive. The MDD model is $20 more.
So any thoughts, The Quicksilver or MDD Model?
I can't afford anything else Now...I KNOW they are old, etc. But i'm just asking about these two models.
Thanks much!

Go with the MDD faster processor, faster system bus speed and faster memory.

Yep...I agree. Faster bus system is worth the extra $20. Even though Im posting on a Quicksilver right now. Sometimes I post with a Powermac 8600...hey they still work:Cool:
