Whenever I am away from my iMac and it goes to sleep, it awakes in safe mode.
For example, when I wake up the computer, and I open firefox or safari and go to type something, all the type is in wingdings or some crazy symbol font. ( """,,,,^.,```) My windows open and close in slow motion as well. I can not do anything.
But, as soon as I hit cmd-Q, it takes me to the OS log in screen, and I have to re-enter my password. As soon as I do this, everything is back to normal.
I use Snow Leopard.
What the heck did I do wrong? Set up a permission that I do not remember? Please help.
