Re: Microsoft Word

Hi Everyone

I was wondering if you can get Microsoft Word for Mac. I don't want to buy the whole Office package.

I have 'Word' on my laptop PC and want to share with my eMac, etc. Right now, I can't afford to buy all new software. Any helpful info would be appreciated....

:) :) ;) :D

i do not think you can get word on its own for mac you need to get a suite. what i did was get together w/ 3 friends we each put in $50 and bought the student and teacher edition and we each had our own CD-Key to use for it which worked out great.....$50 for Office v.x

Yep all of them can be purchased separately, although it's quite a bit more expensive that way :)

If you are a student or you know of a student who could help you out.. go to this site:

I have a student in the family, I will have to look into that. I usually look at the University store or the Apple site.

Thanks for the link. :)
