Can I uninstall software updates?

Is there a way to uninstall a software update? Ever since I downloaded updates for safari and iweb last week, my macbook pro keeps losing its network connection, and it's completely unable to communicate with my Canon printer.

The only way to uninstall software updates is if you've been using Time Machine to make backups. Just restore the machine back before you downloaded the updates.

Those two seem completely unrelated to network updates that shouldn't be doing that..however, the security update for Sept did fix some AFP security and that might be potentially doing something?
