• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

OK, here's my challenge. I'm making a recruiting DVD for my daughter but its essential that I "highlight" her/her position on the field before the play/video begins so she can be followed by the viewer. What would be even better is if I can keep the "highlight" on her the whole time.

Any of you guys who've watched sports on TV know what I'm talking about when they want to showcase a play involving a particular player.

Just a side note, I do have Final Cut if that software makes it easier and/or better.

Thanks for any help.

Thanks chas m. I figured it would eventually involve Final Cut Pro. Little wide on the learning curve that one but I'm usually up for a decent challenge. Thanks for the link!
