Internet Doubt, please respond fast....

Hello,
I've heard a couple of times that instead of using the airport internet on my brand new imac i should use the ethernet connection because its faster for gaming and all of that, is this true??

Wired is faster, wireless is more convenient.

This will help explain the reasons:-

A direct Ethernet connection is easier, and since you're probably not moving an iMac around, and Ethernet connection would be the simplest and least expensive route...

But.. For pretty much everyone, it's the ISP that is the speed "bottleneck" and certainly not the wireless router.

If your iMac is right next to an Ethernet connection.. Use it.. If not, no worries or speed difference (barring interference) between the two.
