As a new migrant from PC to MAC and very happy, I'm just finding Fireox for MAC very jerky and unstable. Is this usual? It did crash a lot as well but after I turned off the Flash add on, this stopped happening although it does stop me viewing some site content. It's a shame because I do like Firefox with all of the add ons etc but it's starting to get on my nerves now. Am I better off just ditching it and getting used to Safari which seems altogether smoother? Advice welcome.

I have Firefox and Safari on my Macbook, and use Firefox all the time with no problems. Maybe try deleting it, and downloading it again. Other than that, I have no idea.

If you're having a lot of issues with Flash, give FlashBlock a try. That way, you can keep Flash enabled but choose which Flash content you want to view.
