I'm new to this software and mac really... I need it to run a windows app I have for class but windows doesn't recognize my D: where my program needs to be loaded...

So I've decided to use bootcamp instead... so when I uninstall Parallel, does it get rid of my windows 7? and if not how do I do that?

Thanks, Dan

I have a Ubuntu Linux installation inside Parallels and the related files are stored in ~/Documents/Parallels/Ubuntu Linux.pvm. You might find something similar for your Windows 7 installation, so if you delete the VM and uninstall Parallels, it goes away..

That's strange that the Windows application wants to specifically install itself on the D: partition when C: is perfectly available.

Even through Bootcamp, looks like you'll have to create 2 partitions for Windows to get the C: and D: to get the application installed..

If I understand this correctly, this sounds more like a Windows issue as opposed to a Parallels issue. What is the program you are trying to install?

You can add an additional Virtual Hard disk to your Windows system. Then use the Disk Management console to format the 2nd virtual disk and make it a D: drive.
