I need a firewire hub that supports at least 2 or 3 firewire 800 connections. The unit needs to be small as I travel a lot (and I don't need 6 plugins). Everyone keeps saying to daisy chain, but lacie hard drives only have 1 800 port and a 400 port that macbook pros no longer provide a connection for. I've also read that there were problems with the light on Belkin 2 or 3 port hubs with their connection with Lacie HD's....anyone else have this problem? Why do macs only have 1 firewire port anyway, what a pain for those photographers and videographers out there!
