I have an iPod Nano 4th Generation and the click wheel and buttons simply don't register. Is there any kind of quick fix or simple trick to make it work again? I don't think it is a software issue because the wheel feels loose or disconnected or something, so I think it is a hardware issue. Thank you for your help!

No quick fix that I know of. Are you handy at taking things apart? If you think you're up to it, go to iFixit: The free repair manual and lookup the Nano 4th generation and the take apart instructions. They also sell parts. I've done repairs on iPods and while they're not exactly easy to repair, they're also not that hard. If you can follow instructions and work carefully, most repairs can be DIY.
