I needed to restore my original OS due to boot issues.
After restoring using the original OS and saving the user data I found none of my passwords worked.
I used the OS CD to reset all passwords and now after logging in I go straight to darwin.
Booting to single user mode and running /sbin/fsck -y gives a "volume is journaled. No checking performed" using the -f option checks the disk however I've done this at least 12 times with the same result.....
Invalid leaf record count
(It should be 27 instead of 810)
Checking volume bit map
checking volume information
repairing volume
File system was modified
If I immediately re-run the fsck I get the same result.
If I reboot to single user and run fsck I get the same result.
I am able to login as "root" and see the gui desktop
How do I get MY user desk top (and therefore my iTunes and photos) back?
