Hello all,
I just bought a new 1TB external HD, and I'm trying to use it for Time Machine, I partitioned the drive 500/500 gig, as I wanted to use half for Time Machine and half for miscellaneous, storage. Now, my iMac only has a 320 gig (120 still free) drive in it but when I go to set up time machine and select one of my partitions for the back up, time machine does it's calculations but comes back and tells me that the drive isn't big enough. Any one have any idea what's going on?
I partitioned the drive as OS Extended (journaled) [GUID] both partitions, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
