Mobile Me / iDisk - Newbie Needs Info

I'm a recovering Windows user with a new MacBook Pro, iPad and iPhone 4 and know just enough to be really dangerous. I'm very interested in MobileMe and iDisk. I will very much appreciate any comments regarding your thoughts, opinions and usage of both. Thank you very much in advance for your help.

MobileMe does a number of things, the two most important items for me are:
1) Synchronization of my Calendar, Address Book and Bookmarks on my two computers, 1 iPhone and 1 iPod Touch.
2) iDisk provides Cloud Storage, Synchronization of Documents on all my devices and remote viewing from anywhere.
