Hi, I'm using my MacBook Pro to listen to Itunes through my airporter and it's been cutting out randomly. It does the same when I'm just listening through the computer. It could be the wireless connection but I'm wondering if others have had the same problem?
Thanks!

I'm not 100% clear on what you're trying to say. Are you listening to music stored on your own hard drive? A network hard drive? A stream from the internet?

Chas my best guess is he is trying to say he is listening to the radio stations in itunes. I am assuming this because "airporter" i am guessing is airport.
If this is what you are trying to do, then i would say it is your internet connection.

you say that the musics cuts out whether you listen to it with the airport express, or if you just play it on your computer. What exactly do you mean by cutting out? Is it just lagging, or is it stopping all together?
Are you using a pc or a mac? Give us some details on your machine if you would please.

in my original post i answered all of your questions. a) i am playing the music on my computer through my airporter (ie. playing music wirelessly through my speakers using the airport express), and b) yes, the music is cutting out, not 'lagging'. the music stops playing entirely.

This is the Macbook. it was just bought last year.

Here is a link to a trouble shooting guide for your problem. Hopefully this helps, if you have tried it and it didnt work, or you try it and it doesnt. Come back and we will try some other steps.

PS. This is a text-based medium and we aren't particularly psychic, so please avoid using colloquial terms like "airporter" (which doesn't mean anything) and try to clarify the sequence of events a bit more.

You don't need an "airporter" to listen to music using iTunes on a MBP. What you meant to say is that you are SENDING music FROM the MacBook Pro TO remote speakers via n Airport EXPRESS using AIRTUNES and it is cutting out periodically.

Then we all don't have to waste a lot of time "decoding" what you mean.
