I just got a new MacBook Pro and am VERY used to using I Cal, in fact, I live by it. Since getting my new computer, it doubles events and won't let me get rid of them. I need suggestions; our IT person at school has tried everything!

Not sure what this has to do with "Community Suggestions & Feedback", moving to the appropriate forum.

Are you syncing your iCal calendar with an online calendar such as Google Calendar? Do you sync your calendar with an iPhone/iTouch/iPad (this thread notes that its possible that sync will duplicate entries if you've restored a backup)?

????

I'm sorry your problem cannot be solved. With no options left, you're stuck!

...unless it's a plist file issue?
Wait, that's been tried.

My new MacBook Pro's ical is having "issues". It duplicates ALL events. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I had similar problems with iCal syncing to iPhone.
Turned out it was my google calendar that was also synced to my phone that was causing all the problems.
Once removed they work lovely together :D
